Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 22, 2026

1. Who We Are

Unseel is operated by Bitake LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use unseel.com and related services ("the Service").

2. Information We Collect

Unseel does not require an account. We use aggregate page statistics and offer optional learning statistics on supported lessons:

  • We do not require registration or login to use the Service.
  • The learning-statistics collector does not request names, email addresses, contact information, IP addresses, or the target values you enter.
  • We set no first-party tracking cookies. If advertising is enabled (see §5), our advertising partner may set cookies — with your consent where required (EEA, UK, Switzerland).
  • Aggregate page statistics include the page path, request country, referrer hostname and whether a request is an entrance. Entrances are not unique people.

Optional learning statistics

Learning statistics are off unless you choose to enable them in a lesson's “Help improve these lessons” controls. If enabled, your browser stores a random browser ID, a session ID and your choice in local storage. Lesson events can include lesson and question IDs, version, time, attempts and correctness. These IDs let us measure practice and return visits on that browser; they are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. The lesson remains usable when statistics are off.

You can turn this off using the same control. Doing so clears the browser and session IDs and stops future collection; it does not delete events already received. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also disable this collection. Clearing browser storage resets your choice and IDs. Learning statistics and advertising choices are separate.

To remove events associated with this browser, use “Delete this browser’s learning data” in the lesson controls before turning collection off or clearing browser storage. A successful deletion also turns collection off. If you already cleared the random ID, we cannot reconnect that browser to its previous events. A daily cleanup removes learning events received more than 90 days earlier. Study links with study=1 disable learning statistics for that visit without changing your saved choice; aggregate page statistics and infrastructure logs remain separate.

After deletion, we keep a one-way hash of the deleted random browser ID to reject delayed events from other open tabs. This deletion marker contains no lesson events and is removed by the same daily cleanup after 90 days.

3. Hosting and Infrastructure

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare may automatically collect standard server logs including:

  • IP addresses
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and timestamps
  • Referring URLs

This data is collected and managed by Cloudflare under their Privacy Policy. Our page and optional learning statistics use Cloudflare services as described above. Infrastructure request logs are separate from the fields sent by the learning-statistics collector.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Cloudflare (hosting, CDN) — Privacy Policy
  • Google Fonts (typography) — Privacy Policy
  • YouTube (embedded videos, if applicable) — Privacy Policy
  • cdnjs / Cloudflare CDN (Three.js library) — Privacy Policy
  • Google AdSense (advertising, when enabled) — Privacy Policy

5. Advertising

When advertising is enabled, the Service displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may use information about your visits to this and other websites to show you more relevant ads. This use is described in Google's advertising policies.

Your consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). If you visit from these regions, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (IAB TCF v2.2) asks for your consent before any advertising or measurement cookies are set, and we apply Google Consent Mode v2 accordingly. You can change your choice at any time through the consent controls.

You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings, or opt out of personalized advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for educational purposes and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. All lessons can be used with optional learning statistics turned off.

7. Data Security

The Service is served over HTTPS. Learning-event identifiers can connect activity across visits, so event exports should be treated as restricted data. No method of transmission or storage is risk-free.

8. Your Rights

You can delete this browser’s received learning events using the lesson controls, or disable future collection. Clearing local identifiers alone does not delete received events; the retention cleanup still applies. For questions or requests concerning stored information, contact us using the information below.

9. Changes to This Policy

Bitake LLC reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
